192 new Covid cases in Manipur

Imphal, Nov 25 (UNI) In the past 24 hours, 7 new Covid-19 positive cases were detected during the Targeted Testing in Lilong and Wangjing Assembly Constituencies.
In total 192 persons (100M, 92F) from the general population were found positive which includes 7 new Covid-19 cases from Lilong and Wangjing Assembly Constituencies and 1 personnel from Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) were also confirmed as new COVID19 positive cases.
The positive cases from the general population were from Imphal West (69), Imphal East (77). Thoubal (13), Bishnupur (11), Tamenglong (2), Churachandpur (9), Senapati (2). Kamjong (4), Chandel (1), Jiribam (2) and Kangpokpi (2). All were locals without any significant travel history. They were being shifted to the Covid Care facilities. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing were in place.
