14,965 beneficiaries in Kashmir avail Marriage Assistance Scheme

Srinagar, Apr 19 (UNI) Nearly 15000 cases have been sanctioned under the Jammu and Kashmir Government’s Marriage Assistance Scheme during this year.
The scheme has emerged as a significant support system for underprivileged families, enabling thousands across the Kashmir division to solemnize weddings with dignity.
According to official data, a total of 14,965 cases have been sanctioned under the scheme in the Kashmir division during the financial year 2024–25 alone.
