10 maoists killed in West Singhbhum in an encounter

Ranchi, Jan 22 (UNI) A fierce encounter took place between security forces and Naxalites on Thursday morning in the Saranda forests of Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district.
The exchange of fire occurred near Kumbhidih village under the Chotanagra police station area.
According to preliminary reports, 10 Maoists were killed in the encounter, including top Maoist commander Anil Da alias Tufan, who carried a bounty of Rs 1 crore on his head.
