'Special Ops 2' to stream from July 18

Mumbai, July 9 (UNI) The second season of the espionage thriller 'Special Ops' is set to premiere from July 18, with acclaimed actor Kay Kay Menon returning as the formidable RAW officer Himmat Singh.
Unlike conventional warfare, the second season delves into the intricate world of cyber-espionage, where battles are waged in silence and the enemy is both invisible and omnipresent.
The story of 'Special Ops 2' is woven in today's uncertain global environment. Now the battle is not just on guns or borders - it is being fought in the cloud, and the enemy is hidden in the everyday life around us. When organised cyber attacks start shaking the foundations of the country, Himmat Singh and his team enter a war that is fought without warning, without smoke and without any clues, but its impact shakes the entire country.
Directed by Shivam Nair, the series features seasoned actors like Prakash Raj, Vinay Pathak, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Karan Tacker, Saiyami Kher, Muzammil Ibrahim, Gautami Kapoor, Parmeet Sethi and Kali Prasad Mukherjee, who make the story more impressive through their characters.
Kay Kay Menon remarked, "Himmat Singh has never been your typical hero; he doesn't chase glory, he carries burdens. This time, the battles are quieter but more dangerous, and the cost of every decision feels heavier. As an actor, it’s rare to find a character who challenges you this deeply, not just in performance, but in spirit.
