'Peddi' dominates the box office, earning over Rs 292.5 crore in four days

Mumbai, June 8 (UNI) Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer pan-India entertainer "Peddi" has emerged as one of the biggest box-office successes of the year, grossing over Rs 292.5 crore worldwide within its first four days of release.
According to the producers, the film is receiving an overwhelming response from audiences across the globe. Its songs, trailer and extensive pre-release promotional campaign, which received overwhelming support from the audience, have produced a positive impact at the box office.
The film performed strongly in all major markets during its opening weekend, achieving a global gross of over ₹292.5 crore (US$2.9 billion) in four days. Positive critical response and word-of-mouth promotion among audiences are considered key reasons for its success. Receiving acolades for its technical aspects, the film boasts a stirring soundtrack by A.R. Rahman, evocative cinematography by R. Rathnavelu, immersive production design by Avinash Kolla and sharp editing by Naveen Nooli.
Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, "Peddi" stars Ram Charan in the lead role. The film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyenndu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles.
The film is produced by Venkat Sathish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas. Maithri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings, and IVY Entertainment are in association with the film, with Ishaan Saxena serving as co-producer. "Peddi" is being distributed by Jio Studios in North India.
