'One Nation One Election' not practical: Kharge

New Delhi, Sep 18 (UNI) Strongly opposing the Union Cabinet's decision on One Nation One Election, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday said that it is 'not practical' and the 'country will not accept it'.
Talking to the media, Kharge said, "This is not practical. They have come up with this issue as they don't have any agenda for the elections and it is an attempt to divert the attention."
"One Nation One Election is against the Constitution, democracy and federalism and the people of the country will not accept this," he said.
The Cabinet today accepted the recommendations of former President Ram Nath Kovind headed panel on One Nation One Election in the country.
