Significance of Ramzan
Ramzan, observed by Muslims worldwide, is a month of fasting from dawn to dusk, marked by prayer, charity, and self-discipline. It commemorates the first revelation of the Quran to Prophet Muhammad and is regarded as a period of spiritual reflection, increased devotion, and community solidarity.
Throughout the month, devotees engage in fasting (roza), special nightly prayers (Taraweeh), and acts of charity (zakat and sadaqah), reinforcing the values of empathy and social responsibility.
The greetings from the Congress leaders come amid preparations for community prayers and charitable initiatives across the country. Their messages underscored themes of peace, mutual respect, and harmony — values that resonate deeply during Ramzan.
