'Game of Thrones', 'Troy: Fall of a City" action directors to join 'The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj'

Mumbai, Jul 20 (UNI) The makers of The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj have strengthened the film's production team by bringing together an accomplished line-up of international action specialists for the ambitious historical epic starring Rishab Shetty.
The team is led by Mark Henson, known for his work on “Game of Thrones,” “Vikings,” “The Witcher,” and “Gravity.” Apart from Henson, Vlad Rimburg of “The Fate of the Furious,” “Bloodshot” and “Lucifer” fame, and Craig Macrae, known for “Troy: Fall of a City,” have joined the team, reports Variety India.
Directed by Sandeep Singh, the film has evolved into a two-part saga, with the first installment slated for release in 2028 and the concluding chapter scheduled to arrive a year later in 2029.
Mounted on a reported budget exceeding Rs 500 crore, the magnum opus ranks among the most expensive historical productions undertaken in Indian cinema.
Arjun Rampal will play one of the major antagonists in the film, which also features Shefali Shah as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s mother, Rajmata Jijabai.
Meanwhile, Shetty is also gearing up for "Jai Hanuman", directed by Prashanth Varma. The sequel to “HanuMan” also stars Amritha Aiyer, Rana Daggubati and Teja Sajja in prominent roles.
