'Do Deewane Sehar Mein' depicts pain of being overlooked: Sandeepa Dhar

Mumbai, Feb 17 (UNI) Actress Sandeepa Dhar says she found the story of the film 'Do Deewane Seher Mein' special because it beautifully captures the feeling of being ignored.
Sandeepa portrays the incredibly sensitive character of Naina in 'Do Deewane Seher Mein'. Naina is a young woman who appears composed, confident and perfect on the outside, but internally struggles with identity, loneliness, and the burden of expectations. Hidden behind her smile and effortless demeanor is a story that reveals the exhaustion of trying to "look right" at all costs.
Explaining about her character, Sandeepa said, "Naina is a girl many of us can see ourselves in. She smiles, takes care of every responsibility, and on the outside, appears to have everything under control. But deep inside, she's disconnected from herself, as if she's playing a role in her own life and has forgotten her true self. However, this pressure is all too common in today's times, where it's expected to look perfect at all times, no matter what's going on inside."
The film is particularly special to her because it beautifully captures the feeling of being overlooked. Sometimes, the more perfect you appear, the harder it is to admit that something is breaking inside.
Sandeepa further eloborated, "I'm sure that after watching the film, people will ask themselves, 'Who are they beyond the world's expectations?' However, my goal is to make them feel seen, because behind every calm and composed face lies a story that isn't always heard."
'Do Deewane Seher Mein' is scheduled to release on February 20.
