‘Border 2’ teaser showcases patriotism and 1971 war bravery

New Delhi, Dec 17 (UNI) The much-awaited teaser of Sunny Deol-starrer ‘Border 2’ was unveiled on Vijay Diwas, offering fans a powerful first glimpse of the high-octane war drama.
Set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war, the teaser showcases intense battlefield action along with the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers.
Alongside gripping combat sequences, it also captures the emotional journeys of the characters, highlighting themes of love, family, and duty amid the chaos of war.
The film stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty in key roles. The teaser opens with a stirring voiceover by Deol, setting a strong patriotic tone, while Varun, Diljit, and Ahan are seen in powerful action sequences reflecting the bravery and resilience of the armed forces.
Sharing the teaser on social media, Sunny Deol wrote, “Awaaz kahan tak jaani chahiye… This VijayDiwas, celebrates the most anticipated teaser of the year. Border2 In cinemas 23rd Jan 2026.”
Ahead of the teaser release, Ahan Shetty visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak temple, while Sunny Deol attended the launch event along with Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty, drawing significant attention from fans and the media.
After unveiling individual character posters over the past few weeks, the makers have now offered a glimpse into the scale and emotion of the film.
Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 also stars Medha Rana, Mona Singh, and Sonam Bajwa. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, and is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with JP Dutta’s JP Films.
Border 2 is slated for a theatrical release on January 23, 2026, continuing the legacy of honouring the heroism and indomitable spirit of Indian soldiers.
