‘Avengers: Doomsday’ teaser unveils long-awaited return of the ‘X-Men’

Los Angeles, Jan 7 (UNI) Marvel Studios has unveiled the latest teaser for its highly anticipated film ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, reigniting fan excitement with the long-awaited return of the ‘X-Men’.
The new one-minute clip teases the crossover with a clear message, “The ‘X-Men’ Will Return in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’.” The teaser features iconic mutants Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), Magneto (Ian McKellen), and Cyclops (James Marsden).
The clip opens on a sombre note, with Professor X addressing Magneto in a reflective monologue, “Death comes for us all. That's all I know for sure. The question isn’t, are you prepared to die? The question is, who would you be when you close your eyes?”
The teaser then cuts to a powerful moment showcasing Cyclops unleashing a blazing red energy beam from his eyes, hinting at a more central role for the character in the upcoming saga.
In addition to Stewart, McKellen, and Marsden, the film will also feature the return of several fan-favourite X-Men characters, including Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Channing Tatum as Gambit, and Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, according to Variety.
The X-Men will cross paths with a massive roster of Avengers, including Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Sebastian Stan, Tom Hiddleston, Simu Liu, Letitia Wright, and Winston Duke. Adding to the excitement, Robert Downey Jr. is set to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this time as the primary antagonist, Doctor Doom.
The ensemble also expands to include characters from other Marvel teams, with Fantastic Four stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach joining the lineup, along with Thunderbolts actors Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, and Lewis Pullman.
The latest teaser follows earlier clips that confirmed the return of Thor and Steve Rogers, further building anticipation for the film.
‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is scheduled to hit theatres on December 18.
