Yogi flags off 2 electric buses launched by Essel Group

Lucknow, July 29(UNI) With an aim to protecting environment, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off two electric buses that will run on trial basis between Lucknow and Kanpur and Agra and Delhi.
The buses are being provided by Essel Group.
“The operation of these buses will be carried out on trial basis. And if found suitable these will be introduced in other routes,” the CM said while addressing the function held at 5 Kalidas Marg, his official residence here on Sunday.
The one bus will ply between Lucknow and Kanpur and other between Delhi and Agra.
Mr Yogi said that these buses are the need of the hour because it will protect environment and reduce government’s dependence on fossil fuel.
Chairman Essel group Subhash Chandra, state Transport Minister Swatandra Deo Singh and MP Amar Singh were present on this occasion.

Srinagar, Jun 16 (UNI) Senior CPI (M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami on Sunday said that the National Testing Agency (NTA) should set-up more National Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET) examination centers in Kashmir Valley and Ladakh region to accommodate aspirants, who otherwise have to face hardships and shell out a lot of money to appear for the test in other states.
