Vij lays foundation stone of sub-divisional secretariat & state central library at Ambala Cantt

Chandigarh, Feb 11 (UNI) Haryana Health and Sports Minister Anil Vij on Monday laid the foundation stone of sub-divisional secretariat and State Central Library to be constructed at a cost of Rs 41.52 crore at Ambala Cantonment.
Speaking on the occasion, he said after the construction of this secretariat, all the offices will come under one roof and the residents will not have to go to other places for their work. He said the best work is being done by the government in all areas including health and education.
The Minister said the state government has given 54,000 government jobs in the last four and a half years on purely merit basis. Similarly, transparency has been maintained in the transfers of employees too.
Mr Vij said Prime Minister Narendra Modi would inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of several major development projects from Kurukshetra on February 12 including Shri Krishna Ayush University, Kurukshetra, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya University of Health, Karnal and National Institute of Ayurveda, Panchkula and inauguration of National Cancer Institute (NCI) at Badhsa village in Jhajjar from Kurukshetra.
While paying tribute to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay on Balidaan Diwas, Mr Vij said according to the ideology of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, the central as well as the state government have been doing great development work for all-round development of even the last person standing in the row.
