Vidarbha lift Irani Cup for second consecutive time

Nagpur, Feb 16 (UNI) Atharva Taide (72) and Ganesh Satish (87) half century helped Vidarbha clinch Irani Trophy against Rest of India on the 5th and the last day here at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium winning on the first innings lead retaining the Iran Cup title on Saturday.
With this victory Vidarbha won the Irani Cup for the consecutive second time. They needed a target of 280 to win and till the match was drawn had scored 269/5.
Vidarbha had already smelled a victory when they took a lead of 425 runs in their first innings in reply to Rest of India's 330 runs.
