USA registers thrilling win against France

Imphal, Nov 24 (UNI) USA team registered its first win in the 13th Manipur Polo International with a hard-earned 6-5 victory over France. France would consider themselves unlucky losing yet again with the narrowest of margin after putting up a great fight.
France was the first to open its account when Clement Glosset converted a spot kick in the 5.44th minute of the 1st chukker. Though the US team also mounted several attacks on the French goal, it did not materialize into a goal and drew a blank in this chukker.
The 2nd chukker proved much more productive for the US team as they managed to score two goals through Ben lynch in the 2.07th minute and Tommy Huber in the 3.55th minute. But just when it looked as if the US team will maintain its lead in this chukker, Herve Simonot scored in the 5.44th minute to draw level 2-2.
