US Consulate General launches Innovivi Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Feb 11 (UNI) Innovivi Centre of Excellence, a unique innovation hub, established with an objective to provide a platform to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in a collaborative and enabling environment for a positive impact on the Indian economy, was inaugurated by US consulate General of Hyderabad, Katherine Hadda here on Monday.
Innovivi Centre of Excellence, founded by Sree Divya and Hilary Weber, will endeavour to up-skill youth, men and women and provide them an opportunity for sustainable career transformation by filling the gaps in the education system.
Speaking on the occasion, Hadda said the centre formally ties up with UC Berkeley and SkyDeck.This latest US-India team work will benefit entrepreneurs in this region and beyond.
Speaking on the launch, Sree Divya, said the Centre of Excellence is proud to bring Silicon Valley trainers and professors from UC Berkeley to train and up-skill the youth, men and women in India.
We strive to build a World Class Force of Innovative, Technologically Skilled workforce with an Entrepreneurial spirit, Sree Divya added.
The centre will offer the first of its kind ‘Sky Program – a unique international innovation internship program for a month in association with SkyDeck, UC Berkeley.
The centre will also conduct the first ever Block-chain course in India with faculty from University of California, Berkeley in collaboration with Indian experts for a 4-month program.
With an authorization of social impact partnership agreement with Cloud Foundry Foundation being Cloud Foundry's first educational and social impact service and channel provider training provider, Innovivi has paved the platform for first ever certified Cloud Foundry Developer course in India.
Telangana Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation (TUFIDC) Chairman K Viplav Kumar, State Technical Education Commissioner Navin Mittal and Hyderabad City Police commissioner Anjani Kumar and ASCII Chairman K. Padmanabhaiah were also present on the occasion.
