UP legislature Monsoon session, beginning Aug 23, likely to be stormy

Lucknow Aug 22 (UNI) The Monsoon session of Uttar Pradesh Assembly, beginning from tomorrow, is likely to be stormy one with the opposition expected to corner government on contentious issues, including Hapur lynching incident and Deoria shelter home sex racket.
On opening day of the session on August 23, the Houses would be adjourned after paying tribute to late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. There will be no House sitting on Friday due to immersion of the late PM's ashes in different parts of the state.
The Yogi government will table its first supplementary budget proposals to the tune of around Rs 40,000 crore on August 27.
