Trumps tweets lacked 'common decency': France

Paris, Nov 15 (UNI) US President Donald Trump's tweets mocking his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron were termed as ‘inappropriate’ and showed a lack of ‘common decency’, said France on Thursday.
On Tuesday, Mr Trump attacked Mr Macron over nationalism, plans for a European army and the French leader's ratings.
Trump tweeted on Tuesday, “The problem is that Emmanuel suffers from a very low Approval Rating in France, 26%, and an unemployment rate of almost 10%. He was just trying to get onto another subject. By the way, there is no country more Nationalist than France, very proud people-and rightfully so!”
