TRS govt expands COVID treatment to Pvt hospitals only after Ministers, MLAs infected : BJP

Hyderabad, Jun 30 (UNI) Telangana BJP unit on Tuesday said that the TRS government has expanded COVID-19 treatment to private hospitals just recently, only after its Ministers and MLAs started contracting the deadly pandemic.
It's a plain opportunistic policy decision, party Chief Spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao said.
In a statement here, Mr Rao said, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has not paid heed to BJP's consistent demand to expand and broaden testing and treatment of COVID-19 across all the district government hospitals and private hospitals in the state, till the disease impacted his own party leaders.
