Tripura to set up separate Directorate for Technical Education

Agartala, Aug 19 (UNI) Besides, expanding the canvass of placement for technically educated youths, the Tripura government has decided to separate the Directorate of Technical Education soon, said Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath here today.
Talking on Good Governance in Technical Education, Mr Nath said that the state government has chalked out a detail plan for streamling technical education to ensure expanding job opportunities in the sectors.
“We have not much scope of employment due to lack of industries but the state can provide platform for better education and training for skill development. It is fact, still the country has dearth of trained technical manpower, which we need to explore,” Mr Nath added.
