Thunderstorm along with lightning likely to occur in Telangana, North Coastal AP: Met warns

Hyderabad, Apr 1 (UNI) Thunderstorm, accompanied with lightning, is likely to occur at isolated places in Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Wanaparthy, Jogulamba Gadwal, Sanagareddy, Hyderabad, Medak, Medchal-Malakajgiri, Bhadradradri Kothagudem, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal Urban, Warangal Rural, and Jayashankar Bhupalapalli districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre warned on Wednesday.
In a bulletin here, it also warned that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana on April 4 and 5.

Further, it also warned that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur in the districts of Visakhapatnam, East Godavari of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours and on April 3 and 4.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours and on April 3 and 4, while the same situation will prevail in Telangana during the next 24 hours and on April 4 and 5, the bulletin said.

Mainly dry weather likely to prevail in Rayalaseema. Maximum temperature is likely to be above normal by 2 to 3 degree Celsius over some parts of Rayalseema on April 2, 3 and 4.

Rain occurred at isolated Places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the last 24 hours, while dry weather prevailed in Rayalaseema during the same period.

In Telangana, the highest maximum temperature of 39.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Nalgonda and minimum temperature of 20.8 degree Celsius at Medak during the last 24 hours, while in Andhra Pradesh, the maximum temperature of 40.2 degree Celsius was recorded at Kurnool and minimum temperature of 20.5 degree Celsius at Arogyavarm during the same period, the bulletin added.
