Three-day virtual symposium on International Automotive Technology from Sep 29

Pune, Sep 21 (UNI) The 17th edition of Symposium on International Automotive Technology 2021 organized by The Automotive Research Association of India in association with SAEINDIA and SAE International (USA) will be held online from Sept 29 to Oct 1.
This was announced by Dr Reji Mathai, director, ARAI, and Dr S S Thipse, convenor, SIAT 2021, in a press conference held at ARAI on Tuesday.
Union Heavy Industries Minister Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey will inaugurate SIAT 2021, while Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will be the chief guest for the closing ceremony.
The theme of SIAT 2021 will be ‘Redefining Mobility for the Future’.
Eminent experts from around the world will present technical papers on various topics including Active and Passive Safety Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Advanced Powertrain Technology, Biofuels, Construction Equipment Vehicles, E-mobility, Emission Measurement & Control Technology, Harmonization of Regulations, Materials & Manufacturing and Public Transportation Systems, among others.
While, Virtual Expo at SIAT 2021 will offer an appropriate platform for a spectrum of worldwide companies to showcase their products, technologies, innovations and services through virtual stalls.
Also, SIAT 2021 will host Student Poster presentation competition in virtual form, it was stated.
