Telemedicine start-up 'DocOnline' expands its frontiers into Karnataka

Hyderabad, Jul 20 (UNI) City-based leading telemedicine start-up, DocOnline expanded its frontiers into Karnataka, with the commencement of its operations in Bangalore.

DocOnline is the first telemedicine company in Karnataka to offer online doctor consultations in the native Kannada language, in addition to English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, a company statement here said on Friday.

DocOnline’s vision of PAN-India presence transpires into reality a step further with the launch of its third network office, after Hyderabad and Pune. Having spread its wings in Bangalore, DocOnline reaches out to serve the people of Karnataka in a preferred language of their choice, so that communication between the doctor and the patient/consumer is effective.

Furthermore, with features like unlimited doctor consultations for the entire subscribed period, the online healthcare platform, which is already impacting the lives of about 200,000 customers, now reaches out to corporates and B2C customers of Karnataka with tailor-made offerings specific to them.

DocOnline is an online doctor consultation platform, which makes Non-Emergency/ Preventive healthcare available to users from anywhere and at any time! It makes healthcare affordable and easily accessible through online consultations with certified and experienced General Physicians via telephone, video and chat facilities.

DocOnline redefines the patient–doctor interaction model by delivering consultation on a digital technology platform and processes, so that people can lead healthier and productive lives. So, if time is a constraint, then DocOnline’s state-of-the-art technology and medical expertise makes it feasible for one to reach out to a virtual doctor in real time and seek medical advice at their convenience. It offers healthcare plans that are created and made available to all people on their terms, the statement added.

On ‘WE’ Day, MP CM calls for team efforts

06 Jun 2020 | 3:30 AM

Bhopal, June 5 (UNI) Wishing citizens on the occasion of World Environment Day, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan emphasised on endeavours to fulfil “our collective obligation” vis-à-vis conserving natural heritage and biodiversity.
“Every individual should plant at least one sapling annually. If more seedlings are planted, it will indeed be a favour to humanity and nature. Biodiversity is the principal theme this year and our state happens to be extremely rich in that aspect. In Madhya Pradesh flows the lifeline ‘Mother Narmada’ and we have the Satpura, Vindhya and Maikal ranges. Rivers such as the Kshipra, Chambal, Betwa and Tapti also enrich our resources. At this juncture, humanity is encountering a challenging phase but my dispensation is determined to safeguard the habitat,” the veteran leader averred in a message.

MP CM launches greening drive

06 Jun 2020 | 2:30 AM

Bhopal, June 5 (UNI) Emphasising that this planet is home not only to humans but also for fauna and feathered creatures, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed concern Friday over mankind’s blind exploitation of nature in the unbridled race for so-called progress.
“Forests have been decimated, toxic emissions from factories polluted the environment, chemical fertilisers and pesticides contaminated water plus food. This simply cannot be described as development; it is in fact destruction! Striking a fine balance between growth and the habitat is imperative. As is universally known but often conveniently disregarded, trees purify the environs, provide us with food, raise groundwater level and enhance storage,” the veteran leader was officially quoted as saying while symbolically inaugurating – via videoconferencing – a major plantation initiative organised by the Harda-based Subhash Manch on the occasion of World Environment Day.
