T. Ao North East Football Tournament to be held in Kohima

Kohima, Feb 15 (UNI) The Dr. T. Ao North East Football Championships will be held at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kohima from April 7 next.
Official sources informed that a meeting of the Organising Committee of the forthcoming Dr. T. Ao North East Football Championships was held today under the chairmanship of the Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio at the CM’s Official Residence. The tournament, which will be hosted at Kohima at the new Astro Turf facility field at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kohima, will begin on 7th April and all the states of the North Eastern region will be invited to participate. The event is being co-sponsored by the North East Council, Government of India and will be conducted under the technical supervision of the All India Football Federation and the Nagaland Football Association.
