Sunrisers restrict Delhi Capitals to 155/7

Hyderabad, Apr 14 (UNI) Sunrisers Hyderabad's Khaleel Ahmed 3/30 restricted Delhi Capitals to a total of 155/7 in 20 overs in an IPL match here at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday.

Put in to bat first by SRH, DC were off to a disastrous start as Prithvi Shaw (4) and Shikhar Dhawan (7) walked to pavilion.

After losing both the openers early, DC captain Shreyas Iyer and Colin Munro stitched a partnership and brought DC back into the game.

Playing his first match of this season's IPL, Colin Munro looked in great touch. He scored 40 runs off 24 balls with the help of 4 fours and three sixes dismissed by Abhishek Sharma.

After Munro's departure, DC lost momentum in the middle overs. However, Iyer along with Pant tried to turn things and had a 50-run stand partnership.

But, they couldn't carry that forward and were dismissed one after another and allowed Hyderabad to make a comeback in the match.

SRH picked up wickets at regular intervals and restricted the visitors to a decent total of 155-7 in 20 overs.

For SRH, Khaleel Ahmed had a sensational performance with ball claiming three crucial wickets by spending 30 runs in his four overs spell.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar also took two important wickets while Abhishek Sharma and Rashid Khan claimed one wicket each.
