Sudhakar built replica of swan car on jeep chasis in Hyd

Hyderabad, Jan 14 (UNI) Known for designing cars in the shapes of computer, skating shoe, football, brinjal, car designer K Sudhakar of Sudha Cars Museum here on Tuesday come out with Swan car replica built on a jeep chasis.
Sudha Cars Museum is an automobile museum located in Hyderabad, displays "crazy cars" that resemble everyday objects.
Talking to reporters, Sudhakar (known mainly as K Sudhakar or K Sudhakar Yadav), who started it as his hobby in his school days and opened the dedicated museum in 2010, said the Swan car is a beyond extraordinary masterpiece build 1910 in Lowestoft, England by J W Brooke and company. It was specially made for a Scottish gentleman, Mr Robert Nocoll Matthewson, having costed then thrice as much as a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost.
The distraction caused on the roads of Calcutta led to the prohibition of this peculiar piece of art by the British Government, he said the car was then sold to the Maharaja of Nabha for an undisclosed price and currently, the Swan car was parked in the lawman Museum of Netherlands, said Sudhakar, who having passion for turning metal scrap into objects has won him a mention in the Guinness Book of World Records earlier.
This Swan car replica was handmade metal body and it was shaped as if a Swan is gliding through water, he said it took two and half years to design and manufacture of the replica of Swan car which have rear luxury air conditioning cabin.
The engine used in the car was isuzu 2000 cc petrol and its speed was 100 kmph, he said the lotus flower design adorning the car on the outside are finished in gold leaves, an ancient symbol of divine wisdom are hand built by the finest craftsmen, who have made their own jigs and moulds to achieve perfection.
This crazy car would be available at Sudha cars museum for the public view, he said this is the 55th wacky car.
He created his first car at the age of 14 collecting the necessary articles from junkyards.
