Singareni CMD Calls Upon Employees to Work with Dedication to Sustain Competitiveness

Hyderabad, June 3 (UNI) Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Chairman and Managing Director Dr Buddhaprakash Jyoti has called upon employees to discharge their duties with dedication and commitment to ensure the company's continued growth and competitiveness.
He said transforming Singareni into an organisation of international standards would bring greater recognition and honour to Telangana.
Addressing the Telangana State Formation Day celebrations held at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad, Dr Jyoti said Singareni, one of Telangana’s most important public sector enterprises, is steadily expanding its operations beyond the state and should work towards establishing a presence at the global level in the coming years.
He noted that Telangana was achieved through the sacrifices of countless youth, leaders and people from all sections of society. Since its formation, the state has made remarkable progress across various sectors and generated substantial employment opportunities for the younger generation, he said.
Highlighting the company’s promising future, the CMD stressed the need to increase production and productivity by making optimum use of machinery in both opencast and underground mines.
He also underlined the importance of improving operational efficiency and maintaining high standards in mining operations.
Earlier, Dr Jyoti paid floral tributes to Telangana Thalli, the Martyrs’ Memorial and the portrait of Professor K. Jayashankar before unfurling the National Flag as part of the celebrations.
On the occasion, employees who rendered outstanding services to the organisation were felicitated. The awardees included L. Srinivas, AGM (Purchase), Y. Lakshminarayana, MV Driver, and D. Rudramma, an outsourcing employee.
