Shrimp industry workers stage dharna seeking better wages

Kakinada, Jun 16 (UNI) Women workers owing allegiance to shrimp industry workers union affiliated to CITU have staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate here on Saturday in support of their demands for better emoluments and working conditions.
They raised slogans demanding Rs.10,000 as minimum wage and extending of PF and ESIC facilities, eight hours working system and implementation of safety measures in the industry.
