Seva Dal gen-secy K K Pandey passes away during 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' in Nanded

Nanded, Nov 8 (UNI) In a tragic incident during former Congress president and MP Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' here, national general secretary of Seva Dal and in-charge of Madhya Pradesh Congress Seva Dal, Krishna Kumar Pandey, died of a heart attack on Tuesday.
While informing media about the sudden death of Pandey, Jairam Ramesh, head of media department of All India Congress Committee, said, "Krishna Kumar Pandey was walking with me and Digvijaya Singh with tricolour in his hand as soon as the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' started in the morning, after some time he passed the flag to another worker and suddenly collapsed while walking behind. He was immediately sent to the hospital, but doctor there declared him dead."
Pandey was a loyal Congress worker, he noted and said that the Congress has lost a staunch worker with the death of Pandey.
