New Delhi, Nov 24 (UNI) Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana on Wednesday asserted that safety of women and children in the national capital is his top most priority and various initiatives are being taken in this regard.
"Our top most priority is the safety of women and children. We are taking all initiatives to ensure their safety," said Asthana, while interacting with the scribes at Indian Women's Press Corps (IWPC).
He said if any woman and children are in distress, police immediately pay attention to their problems and added that all the police control room (PCR) patrolling vans have been merged with police stations for swift action.
