Robbers shoot Jeweller, flee with ornaments in Nashik

Nashik, Aug 20 (UNI) A jewellery shop owner was allegedly shot dead, while his brother was seriously wounded, when a gang of armed robbers fired at them and decamped with gold and silver ornaments worth lakhs of rupees from a shop at Kolpewadi in Kopargaon Taluka of Ahmednagar district.
On Sunday evening at around 1930 hrs, a gang of seven to eight robbers entered the Laxmi Jewellers shop and fired few rounds from the pistol, killing shop owner Shyam Subhash Ghadge (36) on-the-spot, while his elder brother Ganesh (42) was seriously wounded.
The robbers fled with gold and silver ornaments worth lakhs of rupees from the shop.
