Quess East Bengal get clearance for Jaime Santos Colado, Tirado injured flying to Mexico for rehab

Kolkata, Dec 13 (UNI) Ahead of I-League derby against arch rivals Mohun Bagan, Quess East Bengal today announced that the club has got necessary clearance for Spanish winger Jaime Santos Colado.

" Necessary international clearance from Spanish authorities has been received for Jaime Santos Colado. His registration with IFA-WB (
Indian Football Association - West Bengal) will be done on Friday (14 December, 2018) evening. He will wear jersey No.8 for Quess East Bengal FC," a club statement said.

East Bengal have roped in Spanish winger Jaime Santos Colado as their sixth overseas signing for the 2018-19 I-League season.
The 23-year-old has come up through the youth ranks of Sporting Gijon before making a move to CD Mirandes in the summer of 2017. After spending just six months with the Spanish third division club, the winger has been a free agent since January this year.
The Kolkata giants had a transfer embargo imposed by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) due to irregularities in their attempts to
sign defender Sukhdev Singh from Minerva Punjab in the summer.

Meanwhile, Enrique Alejandro Esqueda Tirado has suffered an injury in rib No. 9A on the left side of his chest during a practice match, a club communique said.

" He is proceeding to Mexico under medical advice for necessary rehab and recovery. He is expected to rejoin QEBFC senior team by January 2019," it added.
East Bengal play their first derby in IL of this season against Mohun Bagan on Sunday at Salt Lake Stadium.
