Quantum science-based university coming up in Jaipur

Quantum science-based university coming up in Jaipur

Jaipur, July 8 (UNI) The Centre for Quantum Activism, World Headquarters, Jaipur -- a part of Prof Amit Goswami's world wide-campaign -- is all set to open a quantum technology-based university for transformative education here.

'A transformational university -- Quantum Activism Vishwalayam (home of the world in Sanskrit) has been established under the auspices of the Center for Quantum Activism, Jaipur, Dr Goswami, informed during an interview to a TV news channel in Jaipur earlier this week.

The classes will begin on August 31, 2018, said Mr Goswami, a retired full professor from the University of Oregon’s Department of Physics where he served from 1968 to 1997.

The internationally acclaimed Physicist, who was in the Rajasthan capital to attend an event, said that the first phase of a 10-day intense, communicative, inspiring, interactive and intelligently evolved teaching under one-year certification course in "Quantum Science and Consciousness" will be conducted between August 31 and September 9, to be followed later by the second and concluding phase of an equal duration.

In this way, the one year programme will comprise 20-day intense class room teaching and the rest of the curriculum would be given through internet, he said.

Dr Goswami , a pioneer of the quantum worldview and the founder of the quantum activism movement, will himself lead his international team to impart the actual training and teaching.

"Whereas ordinary activism concentrates on changing the society without affecting the activist, quantum activism seeks societal change through the transformation of each one of us to become the change that we hope to see", he explained.

"Currently students from India and all over the world are being enrolled for the first-year certification programme later we will have a fully developed two-year Master’s program and a three to five-year PhD program in place, said Dr Goswami' office.

First-year certification will count as year one of both the Master’s and PhD programs for those students seeking an advanced degree, according to his office.

Students with at least a Bachelor’s degree and professional training, or equivalent, with an interest in--(1) Quantum Integrative Medicine and Quantum Integrative Psychology; (2) Quantum Economics and Business; and (3) Quantum Society consisting of the creative arts, humanities, politics, and education are eligible to apply, the office added.

"We are also instituting a fully on-line program for students with special circumstances (such as mothers with small children or children with disabilities). Admission to this program will be determined upon a case-by-case basis".

While creating awareness over quantum science and it's vast applications and utility Prof Goswami also asserts that the God's existence can be found in the clues that the science of quantum physics reveals.

He had inked a book "God Is Not Dead" for dealing with the topic. In this book Goswami attempted to help his readers to break through their "materialistic conditioning," viewing reality as defined by Newtonian physics, to become free through a quantum understanding and experience of consciousness and God, a review of the book opined.

"In the book Dr Goswami argues for a "quantum activism," leading a balanced life that incorporates both the quantum and material worlds--and an experience of consciousness. He also tried to make a point over people's thinking and experience over nature of reality, the existence of souls, the power of dreams, the universality of love and the very mind of God", popular reviews of the book held.
