New Delhi, Aug 15 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday appealed to the party volunteers across the nation to donate oximeters, and to take responsibility for setting up Oxygen Testing Centres in their areas or villages so that more and more lives can be saved across the country.
Addressing the volunteers of the AAP on the occasion of the 74th Independence Day in a virtual address, Mr Kejriwal said,"Tomorrow is my birthday and I am not celebrating my birthday. You can extend your birthday wishes from your home. Even though I am not celebrating my birthday tomorrow, I need a gift from you all. Please donate as many oximeters to AAP as possible, and please take the responsibility of your colony or villages and set up oxygen testing centres in your areas, so that every life can be saved. Every life is invaluable to us."
"I want to appeal to all the AAP volunteers, supporters, donors, and well-wishers of the country, that we are planning to distribute responsibilities amongst our volunteers of providing oximeters in villages. This is a private effort," he said.
