Proclaimed offender arrested by Hamirpur police

Hamirpur (HP), Feb 19 (UNI) A team of the PO cell of the Hamirpur police has arrested one Rajesh Kumar (47), son of Rehman, resident of village Daswan, PO Fakloh, district Kangra, who had been declared a proclaimed offender by the Court of ACJM Nadaun on 16.06.2025 under Section 138 N.I. Act.
SP, Hamirpur Balbir Singh said that Rajesh Kumar was arrested on Wednesday at 06:40 PM from Vanu Da Khuh by the PO Cell Hamirpur team. The accused was medically examined at CHC Nadaun and produced before the Ld. Court on 19.02.2026.
The action reflects sustained efforts of Hamirpur Police towards achieving targets set by Himachal Pradesh Police in tracing proclaimed offenders.
