New Delhi Jul 16 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday told BJP MPs and union ministers that any minister who skip roster duties in both the Houses of Parliament should be pulled up.
At the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting, he also categorically directed that he should be informed if they skip their duty or are absent on flimsy grounds.
Sources said Prime Minister expressed happiness that Lok Sabha conducted late night sittings to transact business in the ongoing session. Mr Modi also said that the ongoing session can be extended if it is necessary.
The government is serious about passing important Bills and carry out other legislative agenda, the sources said.
He also asked party MPs to carry out works against leprosy and tuberculosis, sources said.
