New Delhi, June 1 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Friday declined to give an urgent hearing to a plea filed by a NGO, Sankalp Charitable Trust, seeking to cancel NEET- National Eligibility and Entrance Test- on the grounds of multiple errors in its translation into other languages.
The NGO submitted that there were a lot of problems and mistakes in the translation of the NEET question papers.
Counsel for the Trust today mentioned the matter before the apex court, which, however, refused to give an urgent hearing into the issue.
A two-judge bench, headed by Justice L Nageshwar Rao and also comprising Justice M Shantanugouodar, however, asked the petitioner to approach the Delhi High Court for relief.
The Trust's lawyer said he would again mention the matter before the apex court bench on Monday pleading it to hear the matter as future of many students was at stake.
