PCB announces squad for 1st Test against S Africa

Karachi, Jan 24 (UNI) The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday announced a 17-member squad for the first Test against South Africa, set to begin on Tuesday at the National Stadium here.
Abdullah Shafique, Kamran Ghulam and Salman Ali Agha - who were named as probables and part of the training camp in the lead-up to this series, have been left out of the squad.
However, the three players will continue to be part of the squad and will feature in warm-up and training sessions at the National Stadium.

Kolkata, Mar 1 (UNI) Bengal finished the group stages of Vijay Hazare on a dismal note losing to Haryana by 5 wickets in their last engagement here today.
Haryana won the toss and put Bengal to bat. At 3 for 49 and 5 for 85, the writing was on the wall. Had it not been for Subhankar Bal's 54 and Arnab Nandi's 30, the total would have been bleaker. Bengal innings finished for 177 in 45.2 overs.
