Pastor arrested for 'conversion', rape of Dalit girl

Mahoba, Jun 7 (UNI) Pastor of a church was arrested here for alleged conversion, rape of a Dalit girl who was also 'sold' to a Christian in Punjab.
Additional Superintendent of Police Vansh Raj Yadav here on Thursday said it was alleged that Pastor Deepak lured a poor Dalit girl and forced her to convert her religion and then sold her to a Christian Phulchandra Bazigar in Ludhiana for Rs 1 Lakh.
Mr Yadav said the parents of victim girl were not informed about the conversion. The victim was repeatedly raped in Ludhiana by Phulchand and when she managed to escape from his clutches she came to her house and told everything to her parents.
