Parts of HP warned of heavy rainfall or snow

Shimla, Feb 19(UNI) The Inclement weather likely to be be continue during next 48 hrs as Met Office warned of heavy rainfall, hailstorm and Snowfall in next two days as weather would mainly rainy.
The Met office issuing advisory of heavy rain, hail storm and snow fall at mid and high reaches and thundershower and hail storm in the foot hills for Feb 20 and 21 .Most part of state likely to get rain and snowfall in next two days as the inclement weather condition keeping life out of gear.
Khadhrala in Shimla district had 39 cm snowfall, tourist resort Kufri 35 cm, Dalhousie in Chamba 25 cm Kalpa in Kinnuar 22 cm, Theog in Shimla & Bharmaur in Chamba 15 cm each, Shimla seven cm and Keylong in Lahaul Spiti five cm.
With fresh snowfall vehicular traffic disrupted once again as the snow mounted again on the Hindustan-Tibet National Highway No-5. Vehicular traffic to Rohru, Jubbal, Chopal and Kotkahi was partly affected with more snowfall at Kharpather and Khriki in the district.
Sangraha in Sirmaur had 72 mm rainfall, Kotkhai 55 mm, Dharmshala 40 mm, Solan & Jogindernagar in Mandi 30 mm each, Pachhad in Sirmaur 28 mm, Rohru in Shimla -27 mm, Baijnath in Kangra, Renuka in Sirmaur & Gaggal in Kangra 26 mm each, Rampur in Shimla 25 mm, Sundernagar in Mandi & Shimla-23 mm each.
Pandoh in Mandi, Palampur in Kangra & Manali 22 mm each, Chamba, Jubbal Hatti in Shimla &
Naina Devi in Bilaspur 21 mm each Berthin in Bilaspur 20 mm, Bhunter in Kullu 18 mm, Paonta in Sirmaur 17 mm, Nahan, Sunnibhajji in Shimla, Arki in Solan & Bajaura in Kullu -15 mm each.
Minimum temperature remained below freezing points as Keylong was coldest with minus 8.6 degrees, Kalpa minus 3.4 degrees Mashobra minus 2.4 degrees, Kufri minus 1.7 degrees, Chail minus 0.2 degree, Dalhousie minus 0.4 degrees, Shimla 0.5 degrees and Manali 0.7 degrees.
Nahan in Sirmaur district 3.3 degrees, Dharmshala 3.8 degrees, Bhuntar 4.4degrees, Solan five degrees Mandi 5.1 degrees,Chamba 5.8 degrees Sundernagar 7.4 degrees, Kangra 8.2 degrees, Bilaspur 9.2 degrees and Hamirpur 9.5 degrees respectively.

Srinagar, Jun 16 (UNI) Senior CPI (M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami on Sunday said that the National Testing Agency (NTA) should set-up more National Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET) examination centers in Kashmir Valley and Ladakh region to accommodate aspirants, who otherwise have to face hardships and shell out a lot of money to appear for the test in other states.
