One person found allegedly murdered in mosque in Srinagar

Srinagar 13 (UNI) A person was allegedly murdered in a mosque in the civil lines in Srinagar on Thursday afternoon, official sources said.
They said a person identified as Abdul Gani, a resident of Badgam after offering “Zohar” (mid-day) prayer was allegedly hit by an unidentified person in the first floor of the mosque near here. Gani died instantly, they said.
Police was immediately informed and the body was sent for postmortem, they said a case has been registered in police station Maisuma. We are investigating the incident, sources said.

Accident claims youth

Narsinghpur, MP, Nov 27 (UNI) A 30-year-old died on the spot and another youngster was grievously injured in the vicinity of Manegaon trijunction on Friday when their motorcycle collided with an ambulance heading for Jabalpur, law-enforcement authorities said.
The deceased was identified as Neelesh Mehra who was a resident of Mounawari village. The hurt individual was rushed to the District infirmary.

Jabalpur, MP, Nov 27 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh High Court granted anticipatory bail on Friday to the opposition Congress’ local legislator Arif Masood in a case pertaining to fomenting religious sentiments during a demonstration at the state capital’s Iqbal Maidan against the French government.
Acting Chief Justice Sanjay Yadav and Justice Sujoy Paul ruled that the lawmaker must not leave the city without informing law-enforcement authorities.
