Odisha  reports  779 nCoV  cases , 68  fatalities in the past 24  hours

Bhubaneswar, Aug 28 (UNI) Odisha reported 779 new covid positive cases and 68 deaths in the past 24 hours taking the total tally in the state to 10,05,654 with 7765 fatalities.
Health and Family Welfare department sources said out of 71,137 tests conducted in the past 24 hours 454 new infections were recorded from the quarantine centres and 325 local contact cases from 29 districts registering 1.09 percent test positivity rate.
Out of 779 new cases, Khordha district recorded the highest number of 259 cases followed by 84 in Cuttack district.These two districts contributed 44 percent of the total new cases registered in the state.

Itanagar, Apr 15 (UNI) Election authorities in Arunachal Pradesh on Monday airlifted the first batch of polling teams with the polling materials including Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trails (VVPATs) for four remotely located polling booths in Pip-Sorang circle under Tali Assembly Constituency in Kra Daadi district bordering China.
