Seoul, Sep 14 (UNI) Taking a step further in establishing peace and cementing ties, North Korea and South Korea on Friday opened a "liaison office" that will allow them to communicate on a regular basis.
With the establishment of this office, the Koreas will be able to "directly discuss issues 24 hours, 365 days", Seoul's Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon said.
Such an initiative of regular communication is taken first time since Korean war, a BBC report said.
