No dearth of funds to take tourism to top level : Haryana Min

Chandigarh, Dec 7 (UNI) Tourism Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said on Friday that Haryana would be taken to top level in terms of tourism and for this, there would be no dearth of funds,
Stating this after presiding over meeting with senior officers of the department, Mr Sharma said that the Madhogarh Fort in South Haryana would be renovated and developed as world class tourist spot. For this purpose, first instalment of Rs 30 crore has already been approved. The Madhogarh Fort and Mahendragarh Fort would be developed on the lines of Mughal Gardens of Pinjore.
He said that under the ‘Swadesh Darshan Yojana’ of the central government, the government has been taking significant steps to develop ‘Madhogarh-Mahendragarh-Narnaul-Rewari Heritage Circuit’ as world-class tourism spot. It is expected that expenditure of about Rs 100 crore would be incurred to fully develop this circuit. In this regard, he had met Union Minister of State for Tourism and Culture Dr Mahesh Sharma several times in Delhi.
