Nepal: House endorses govt’s policy and progs

Kathmandu, May 27 (UNI) The House of Representatives endorsed Oli government’s policy and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year on Sunday.
According to The Kathmandu Post report, President Bidhya Devi Bhandari had presented the policy and programmes on May 21 and the lawmakers held discussions in the policy and programmes for four days.
All the lawmakers except Nepali Congress lawmaker Minendra Rijal and Rastriya Janata Party Nepal lawmaker Anil Kumar Jha withdrew their amendment proposal. The amendment proposal registered by Rijal and Jha was rejected by majority.
