Mumbai plane crash: UP govt says plane was sold to pvt firm in 2014

Lucknow, Jun 28 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government has clarified that the crashed aircraft in Mumbai did not belong to the state government.
State civil aviation minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi in a statement here on Thursday said that the crashed aircraft VT-UPZ was owned by UP government till 2014. But later it was sold to UY Aviation Pvt Ltd of Mumbai in 2014. He said it is currently neither owned nor operated by UP Government.
