Moradabad GRP arrests criminal carrying Rs 1 lakh reward

Moradabad, Jun 17 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Government Railway Police (GRP) has arrested a notorious criminal carrying Rs 1 lakh reward on his head and was absconding from 12 years, here on Sunday.
GRP spokesman here o said that acting on tip-off wanted criminal Harpal Saini alias Harimandal was arrested from Amroha station. During interrogation he told that he was living with fake identifications in UP, Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Jharkhand.
Harpal Saini and his accomplice Rakesh Sharma was convicted under National Security Act (NSA) in 2006. Both were sent to Moradabad jail by Doon Express but they were escaped on September 13, 2006 from Katghar railway station. Rakesh Sharma was arrested later but Harpal Singh was absconding since then and reward of Rs 1 lakh was announced on his arrest.
