MeToo movement:Emraan for including clause in contracts to view any misconduct as violation

New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Amid the ongoing #MeToo movement that has hit Bollywood, actor and producer Emraan Hashmi on Thursday called for adding a clause in contracts, where any grave misconduct will be looked as a legal violation.

The actor who owns production house Emraan Hashmi Films (EHF) said, sexual harassment cannot and should not be tolerated anymore.

'The guidelines need to be in place. We at EHF have taken a step to include the right clauses in our contracts where any gross misconduct of this nature will be looked into as a legal violation. These are baby steps, but we need to start somewhere,' Emraan said on his Twitter post.

On the work front, Emraan will be seen in Soumik Sen's directorial, 'Cheat India' which will release on January 25, 2019.
