Marginal increase in generation of e-waste in Goa: CM

Panaji, Jul 29 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has informed State Legislative Assembly that there is a marginal increase in the generation of e-waste in the state.
In a written reply in response to a question asked by Antonio Caetano Fernandes on July 27, Mr Parrikar, who also holds environment portfolio, said,''From the annual returns submitted by the units it is seen that there is a marginal increase in the generation of E-waste.''
He said as per the E-waste (Management) Rules 2016, the Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) had granted authorization to a Salcet-based recycler to dispose off E-waste under intimation to Board.

Nashik, Jul 14 (UNI) Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Dadaji Bhuse has directed the concerned officials to make the fund of Rs 870 crore, sanctioned to the Nashik District Bank under the 'Mahatma Phule Debt Relief' Scheme. available to the farmers for crop loan immediately.
