Man drowns in lake in Nashik

Nashik, Nov 5 (UNI) A 48-year-old man drowned in a lake near Ajmir Soundane village in Baglan taluka of the district on Thursday.
The deceased, Bhimbaji Sukram Mali, a resident of Ajmir Saundane, was returning home from the 'dargah' of Pir Baba this morning when the incident occurred, police said.
On seeing the accident, the nearby farmers rushed to the spot, removed Bhimbaji from the lake and took him to the village hospital, where medical officials declared him dead before admission.
